Im african american so I have poofy have but my dad is puerto rican so my hair isnt that bad but it still has alot of knots.If you know a really good shampoo.To take out knots i use pantene and i dont like it i need something to remover knots not make it shiny or stronger.

you could use a conditioning shampoo and when you are in the shower use a comb and gently comb your hair. that should remove most knots. dont use a brush because it will break your hair and it will become more frizzy and knotted.

Try herbal essences or garnier fructis, they both help with knots and make your hair look great, plus they both smell really good!
try a kids detangler spray i used to use it like a year ago
