Shampoo
- cleans the hair of oils and dirt
- disinfects from microorganisms
- moisturizes the hair
- it can even cater for straight, curly, fizzy hair
- gives a fragrance to the hair
- dis-entangles and prevents hair from entangling
- just a few that I could think of now
so what is the conditioner for? What is the purpose of (hair) conditioner if shampoo does everything?
Shampoo, firstly only does these things
-cleans the hair
-helps with split ends
-gives fragrance
Conditioner
- smooths and straightens the hair
-gives frizz control
-keeps the hair soft
-keeps away knots and tangles
Many people cannot have good looking hair without the conditioner. What is the purpose of (hair) conditioner if shampoo does everything?
You should shave your head bald for asking something like this.... thanks for the two points!
lol and you actually believe all that?? Take it from someone who's experimented with many shampoos/conditioners; there is a BIG difference between a shampoo and a conditioner.
Shampoos are good for cleaning and moisturizing hair but some people's hair needs more and that's where conditioners come in. Conditioners give hair a boost in the looks department mainly, making your hair silky, smooth, full, soft, and shiny.
Shampoo does clean your hair but it won't take care of tangles. Conditioner coats your hair, keeps it shiny, healthy, and tangle free. If you have oily hair, use it only on the ends. If your hair is dry and you really hate the 2 step process, try a 2 in1 shampoo conditioner. I don't recommend it for oily hair though.
see how silly people are
They believe most everything...
