Good shampoo to make fine hair softer without using a lot of conditioner?

if i use too much conditioner, it makes my hair look oily too fast and gross.





i have really fine hair, and i want it to be softer then it is now.

I'm wondering the same thing... but you should definitely *avoid* Pantene. It makes hair look great for a while, and then eventually wears it down and causes dryness. The damage is caused by all the silicone they put in their products. At first, the silicone helps smooth hair, but eventually it wears down the hair and it looks horrible.
I use ordinary Johnson %26amp; Johnson baby shampoo. It's a very gentle soap so you're hair feels much softer than with normal shampoos. Also, unlike other gentle shampoos it produces a lot of soap suds so it gets your hair really clean even after working out.
There is this stuff from herbal essences called Drama Clean. And a lot of other hair products that can make hair do cool stuff! like if you have wildly curly hair, they have straighting shampoo and conditioner!
Unite Vitalize works wonders even without the conditioner.
